By all accounts, Kyrie Irving wanted out of Cleveland last offseason so that he could wriggle away from the shadow of LeBron James. He wanted to be his own player and be a cornerstone player himself.
So would Kyrie really want to play with LeBron again in Boston? It’s not a huge possibility, but it is a possibility.
Reports are out that the Celtics are scared to even broach the idea with Irving, but should they be? And how does Kyrie’s contract situation fit into anything that Boston does this offseason?
