The Patriots did exactly what everyone thought they would do on Thursday and put in a waiver claim on tight end Martellus Bennett. He struggled through an injury-plagued season without Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay but is back where he excelled last season and helped New England win a Super Bowl. He had 55 catches a season ago and caught seven touchdowns playing opposite Rob Gronkowski for part of the year, and then taking over for Gronk when he went out for the season.
How much of a difference can Bennett make? And will he help the Patriots red zone issues? We got all of those answers and much more from our film guru, Matt Verderame, who joins us each Thursday at 5 PM from Fansided.com.
