Former UVM Star and Current Manhattan Lax Coach Joins Us (AUDIO)

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned during my time in Burlington, it’s that fans here really enjoy success stories that have a connection with the area.

And we have another one of those in the form of Drew Kelleher. Kelleher is a former University of Vermont lacrosse star who is now the head men’s lacrosse coach at Manhattan College.

He joined us today on ‘Champlain Valley Game Night’ to talk about his journey from UVM to Manhattan, how the sport has grown, the grind of a Division I season, his time at UVM and much, more more.

During his senior year of 2009, Kelleher was one of the best players in the country, finishing 11th in the nation in goals per game (2.50).

Kelleher’s season at Manhattan starts on February 4th.
