Coming into the season, we felt that the New England Patriots were going to be loaded on offense. When you start to talk about having four viable running backs and a deep wide receivers corps (and Tom Brady), and a healthy Gronk, we just assumed that the Pats were going to be great again this season.
But after injuries to Malcolm Mitchell and Julian Edelman, and after losing Danny Amendola in the second half of Week 1, where was the depth suddenly gone? And more importantly, what can the team do to rectify the situation?
We got all those answers and more from our Patriots Insider from NESN, Zack Cox. He also talked with us about the poor scheduling the NFL did, the use of the running backs in Week 1 and the matchup with the Saints.
