An Alternative to the Conference Tournament? (AUDIO)

This happens every single year. Teams that finish No. 1 in its conference end up faltering in the league tournament, and in turn don’t get to represent the league in the NCAA Tournament.

2) The exposure for the title game on ESPN/ESPN 2 helps.
3) It keeps everyone motivated all season because you have a chance no matter what.
